Notes
'Astra Gold Sunflower' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Astra Gold Sunflower') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 60 to 72 inches tall and blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Drought tolerance makes it easy to keep.
