Notes
'Aureum Crispum' oregano (Origanum vulgare 'Aureum Crispum') is an herb for rock gardens, pollinator gardens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its cascading stems grow 6 to 12 inches tall and spread 12 to 18 inches. Pinkish-purple flowers open in mid to late summer and early autumn, and they attract butterflies and bees.
Pairs well with Gold dust, Sage, and Hoary vervain.
