Notes

'Bashful Queen' peony (Paeonia 'Bashful Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Fragrant pink double blooms reach 7 inches wide and attract bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Swenson Gardens bred it.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Empress Wu hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and African Queen lily.
