Notes

'Belgica' common honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum 'Belgica') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It climbs fast and has fragrant blooms that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Give it a trellis or fence to climb. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Compassion rose, Prince Charles clematis, and Hidcote lavender.
