Notes
'Black Lava' taro (Colocasia 'Black Lava') is an annual for use as a specimen, an accent, and a plant for rain gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes part sun and wet soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Try it in a low spot where rain collects.
Pairs well with Red canna, Ice Dance Japanese grass sedge, Woodfern, and Allegheny monkeyflower.
