Notes
'Redemption' taro (Colocasia 'Redemption') is a perennial for pond edges, containers, and bold foliage beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist soil. The rippled leaves open green and quickly turn dark burgundy. A neon-pink shield spreads along the veins as the leaves mature. Yellowish-white spathes may appear in summer, but the foliage usually hides them.
Pairs well with Mondo grass, Cobra lily, and Azalea.
