Notes

'Blue Cushion' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Blue Cushion') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Blue-violet flowers cover the compact mound of grey-green leaves from early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Shear it lightly in early spring and again after flowering to keep it tidy.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Blue fescue, and Creeping thyme.
