Notes

'Blue Diamond' iris (Iris 'Blue Diamond') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The blue-violet flowers have dark violet standards and a lemon yellow blotch on each fall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Plant it where you can enjoy the veined falls up close.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Feather reed grass, and Patriot hosta.
