Notes

'Blue Eyed Girl' iris (Iris 'Blue Eyed Girl') is a perennial for borders, pathways, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Lemon yellow flowers with deep blue beards open in early to late spring and have a light fragrance. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Divide clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Carnation.
