'Blue Favourite' iris (Iris 'Blue Favourite') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The deep violet flowers have a broad yellow blotch and bloom in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. You can cut the blooms for bouquets.
Pairs well with Clary sage, Feather reed grass, and Red-hot poker.
