Notes
'Blue Forest' creeping juniper (Juniperus horizontalis 'Blue Forest') is a groundcover for rock gardens and ground cover plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays 9 to 12 inches tall and spreads 36 to 48 inches at a moderate pace. The evergreen foliage tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Maiden pink, Mugo pine, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
