Notes
'Blueberry Tart' iris (Iris 'Blueberry Tart') is a perennial for front borders, pathways, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The standards are sky blue to royal blue, and the falls are deep tan edged in lavender-blue. It blooms in spring and again in summer. It sits low on the menu for rabbits. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.
Pairs well with Picture peony, Blue grama, and Creeping juniper.
