Notes

'Brass Lamp' iris (Iris 'Brass Lamp') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Fragrant yellow flowers with burgundy brown standards open in early to late spring. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming, and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level.

Pairs well with Bowl of Cream peony, Francee hosta, and Spanish bluebell.
