Notes
'Caesar' iris (Iris 'Caesar') is a perennial for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It bears deep purple blooms in late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and 30 to 36 inches wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Royal fern, and Incrediball hydrangea.
