Carnival of Color iris

Notes

'Carnival of Color' iris (Iris 'Carnival of Color') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and blend white, gold, tan-brown, and peach, with purple marks radiating from orange beards. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Gardenia peony, Campfire rose, and Western sword fern.
