Notes

'Casablanca' iris (Iris 'Casablanca') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The white flowers have a narrow yellow blotch on the falls and open in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall, so it suits the front or middle of a bed.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Japanese forest grass, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
