Notes

'Cee Jay' iris (Iris 'Cee Jay') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with The Chatelaine lupine, Prinzessin Victoria Louise oriental poppy, and Red Riding Hood tulip.
