Notes

'Comanche' peony (Paeonia 'Comanche') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant fuchsia blooms attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It grows about three feet tall with fine dark green foliage.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Dittany, Black Hero tulip, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
