Notes
'Coppelia' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Coppelia') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. It grows 24 to 48 inches tall and bears coppery orange blooms that draw butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Fanal astilbe, and Foxtail barley.
