Notes

'Dangerous Liaison' iris (Iris 'Dangerous Liaison') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Grand Canyon Sunset iris, Meadow rue, White sagebrush, and Mont Blanc ornamental onion.
