Notes
'Delta Jazz' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Delta Jazz') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. It also tolerates drought once settled.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Agapanthus, Orange daylily, and Society garlic.
