Notes

'Evelina' apple (Malus domestica 'Evelina') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Evelina is a sport of 'Pinova'. Its fruit has an extensive red flush over a golden yellow base. The juicy, lightly crisp flesh tastes sweet with little acidity, and bees visit the spring blooms.

Pairs well with Juneberry, Garlic chives, Rhubarb, and Grape hyacinth.
