Notes

'Florenza' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Florenza') is an annual for borders, cut flower gardens, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The stems are excellent for cutting, and the flowers attract butterflies, bees, and birds. It sits low on the menu for deer. Its rapid growth fills a bed fast.

Pairs well with Daydream cosmos, Brocade French marigold, and Red fescue.
