Notes
'Fragrant Blue' hosta (Hosta 'Fragrant Blue') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. The fragrant flowers open blue in early to late summer and fade to white. This small hosta stays 6 to 9 inches tall and draws hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Western sword fern, Coralbells, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
