Notes

'Glory Blue' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Glory Blue') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late summer and grows fast. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates salt, so it can work near roads in winter.

Pairs well with Patriot hosta, Aureola Japanese forest grass, Astilbe, and Lady fern.
