'Greenland' iris (Iris 'Greenland') is a perennial for borders, pathways, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The ruffled flowers open in early to late spring with green-gold standards, chartreuse green falls, and orange, yellow, and white beards. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
