Notes

'Hidcote Pink' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Pink') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Major Lawrence Johnston bred it, and the soft pink flowers fade to pale blush. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Magnus coneflower, and Creeping thyme.
