Notes

'Hidcote Superior' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Superior') is a perennial for borders, hedges, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Its fragrant deep purple-blue flowers attract bees and butterflies. It is also drought tolerant and stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Goldenrod, and Summer savory.
