Notes

'Italian White' cucumberleaf sunflower (Helianthus debilis 'Italian White') is an annual for pollinator gardens, containers, and low maintenance beds. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 24 to 47 inches wide. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. It tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Strawflower, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Elfin mother of thyme.
