Notes

'KEK 5006' 5006 lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus praecox 'KEK 5006') is a perennial for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It forms an arching, evergreen clump and grows at a moderate pace. Hummingbirds and birds visit the blooms in summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Statice, Lion's tail, Lemongrass, and Indian-hawthorn.
