Notes
'Kerlavangem' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Kerlavangem') is an herb for borders, containers, hedges, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant flowers from early to late summer, with another flush in early autumn.
Pairs well with Yarrow, Rosemary, and Helene Von Stein lamb’s ear.
