This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The yellow-orange blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with May Night salvia, Feather reed grass, and Ornamental onion.
