Notes

'Liberty' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Liberty') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows about 21 inches tall and bears red blooms. Flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late winter.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
