Notes

'Mauve Giant' iris (Iris 'Mauve Giant') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The standards are violet, and the falls are pale mauve with a narrow yellow stripe on a creamy white ground. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bloom comes in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Feather reed grass, and Casa Blanca lily.
