Notes

'Medusa' ornamental onion (Allium 'Medusa') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and pollinator plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant blooms draw butterflies and bees, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Anise hyssop, Russian sage, and Blue fescue.
