Notes

'Ming Treasure' iris (Iris 'Ming Treasure') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It bears violet-blue blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and 48 to 54 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Toad lily, Fountain grass, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
