Notes
'Mongolian Giant Sunflower' (Helianthus annuus 'Mongolian Giant Sunflower') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and reaches 132 to 144 inches tall. Deer tend to pass it by. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with First Knight fountain grass, Profusion Double Hot Cherry zinnia, and Celosia.
