Notes

'Montecito' iris (Iris 'Montecito') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It bears yellow blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Peter Konijn bred it.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Feather reed grass, and Nelly Moser clematis.
