Notes
'Munstead-Type' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead-Type') is an herb for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It is a compact English lavender with a broad habit. Violet, lavender, and blue flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees.
Pairs well with Helene Von Stein lamb’s ear, Sage, and Bowman's root.
