Notes

'Neon' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Neon') is a bulb for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, so it fits easily in small spaces. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and needs little care.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Labyrinth dahlia, and Lemongrass.
