Notes

'Northward Ho' iris (Iris 'Northward Ho') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 30 to 36 inches tall and handles dry spells well. Pink-brown blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Stained Glass hosta, Mount Hood daffodil, and Miss Kim lilac.
