Notes

'Oase' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Oase') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Tall spikes reach 47 to 59 inches, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The plant is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Fireglow spurge, Macedonia scabious, Russian sage, and Feather reed grass.
