Notes

'Pagoda' tuolumne dog tooth violet (Erythronium tuolumnense 'Pagoda') is a perennial for woodland, shade garden, and rock garden use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows slowly, so give it time to settle in.

Pairs well with Wood lily, Western sword fern, and White Feather hosta.
