Notes

'Parzifal' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Parzifal') is a shrub for hedges, accents, shade gardens, and foundation planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate, tolerates salt, and blooms from early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to grow into its erect shape.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Lady fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Toad lily.
