Notes

'Peergold' boxwood (Buxus microphylla 'Peergold') is a shrub for borders, hedges, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen mound that reaches 24 to 36 inches tall. The plant tolerates drought once established. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Paperbark maple, Snake's head, and Jacob’s ladder.
