Notes

'Peter Nason' iris (Iris 'Peter Nason') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The standards are indigo blue, and the falls are steel blue with an Indian yellow stripe. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It blooms in spring and summer.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Lemon thyme, and Ornamental onion.
