Notes

Pink honeysuckle (Lonicera hispidula) is a shrub for borders, low maintenance gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink, rose, or purple flowers appear in spring and summer, and hummingbirds visit them. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows as a loose shrub, but branches will twine up a fence or nearby plant.

Pairs well with Hummingbird sage, Snowbrush, and Wild geranium.
