Notes

'Pink Surprise' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Pink Surprise') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant white flowers open in early to late spring, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows about 12 inches tall and forms a clump.

Pairs well with White Splendour Greek thimbleweed, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Flaming Purissima tulip.
