Notes

'Poseidon' checkered lily (Fritillaria meleagris 'Poseidon') is a bulb for borders, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The large white flowers are checkered with purple. They bloom from early to late spring on arching stems.

Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Empress Wu hosta, Sedge, and Clustered bellflower.
