Notes

'Prairie Charm' peony (Paeonia 'Prairie Charm') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant blooms open in early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 35 to 47 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Globemaster allium, Lady's mantle, Purple cranesbill, and White sagebrush.
